Readers' Choice

Paperwork is done!!! With the exception of the floor plan/escape plan and our book reports. Still slowly working on the reading. My current book is putting thoughts and feelings I have into real words that I wasn't sure how to verbalize or was just too afraid to admit, which is actually a good thing. At least I know I'm not crazy or the first person to think such thoughts. I will probably share more in another post, once I actually finish the book. :)

Thanks to another big donation last night, we are over 10% of our way to our goal!!! Our goal is $30,000 (the average cost of a domestic infant adoption) and we are currently at 10.67%. It is also nice to see that number grow on a regular interval thanks to the part time jobs. Once we finalize a date for our fundraiser, we will start getting more information out to everyone on the plans. But seeing that number grow is a good motivator to keep on trucking with our current schedules. And I can't say this enough, but we have been blessed with some amazingly generous people in our lives. And as much as I want this, sometimes you still need to find something to motivate you or to remind you what the goal is. For me, I keep telling myself that somewhere out there, there is a baby who needs me more than I need him or her. I'm doing this for him or her, and that makes all the difference.

Okay, now finally getting to the point of today's title... I sometimes feel that I ramble on and on in these posts, but may not be hitting on the things people really want to know. So, I've decided to field some questions. If there is anything you would like to know or have wanted to ask us about this crazy journey, feel free. You can either comment on the post (anonymously if you prefer), email them to me, or message me on facebook. Please give me some time to compile the list and answers and I will post a blog entry of the questions and answers. The goal of this blog was to give people a feel of what it is like to walk in our shoes and see the world through our lenses, so I want to make sure we are doing that. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what kinds of questions we get. And if you do decide to email me or message me a question, I will not use your name in the blog post, just in case you were wondering. Okay, on your marks, get set...ask away!
