It's That Time of Year Again...

Football season is upon us, and that means weekly bets with the hubs over whose Fantasy Football team will do the best. This past week, my team "Powderpuff Football" dominated his Team "Bears South" winning 126.10 to 104.98. Ouch! What does this mean? That Gus will be doing the laundry this weekend! Which is awesome, because this is my last 30+ hour week at job #2 and I'm working everyday from yesterday through Monday. So, not having to fit the laundry in is going to be LOVELY!!! Better luck next week Babe! :)

Other exciting things going on:

1) Home study starts on Tuesday!!! Yes, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time, but I just read a chapter in my current required reading selection on what to expect during the home study, and I'm feeling more at ease over it now. The list of questions to expect was what I really wanted to know, and I know it wasn't a complete list, but when you know someone is going to be prying into your life, it's nice to have an idea of what they will be digging for.

2) Next Thursday, we will be Nashville bound for our adoption conference. Looking forward to the mini-vacation and spending some much needed time together. Looking forward to the conference too. One of the books I read already was by the woman putting the conference on, and I think we will learn a lot.

3) No, we aren't back home yet. Our estimate of mid-September is now being pushed to early October. The hard wood floors are taking much longer than expected (surprise, surprise) and we are waiting on the carpet too. Once those two pieces are done, the restoration company will come back and clean the whole house from top to bottom and then they will move all of our stuff back in. I CAN'T WAIT!
